So, when Caroline actually asked for me to take her picture and to wear “pretty shoes”, I jumped at the chance. Perfect timing to help document her “half birthday”. Here she is, my sweet Caroline, all two and half years of her.

The “S” family celebrated a long holiday together, grandchildren playing in the sand with grandparents, children splashing in the water with mom and dad, and really, just Living and loving life. January 30th, 2012Meet Rylee and Layne. You met their family here during the fall. The little ones were anxious to meet their family and arrived several weeks early. These identical twin girls were teeny, tiny at their session, but were as sweet as could be. At just ten days old, I was amazed at all of their hair, but even more amazed by the length of their eye lashes. Jenny and Josh, you were so natural and calm as parents of three! Big sister Julia was taking on her new role with love and devotion. You truly are a great team! Congrats to your entire family!

January 27th, 2012I had the honor to meet sweet baby Brynn on her seventh day of life. I have known her family for quite some time, in fact, her big sisters were some of the first images on my original website. Brynn was as sweet as they come. You will be seeing more of her on the blog in the future, hopefully, with the rest of her family. Until then, here she is! Congratulations Tiffani and Josh, she is perfect!

January 9th, 2012Admittedly, I am behind in blogging. But, I will catch-up. This session was a long time coming. I don’t know who was more excited to capture these moments, me or them. I loved Jake’s smile, complete with a hole from losing his first tooth. Zach and those eyes, oh those baby blues. The outfits and colors were perfect and fit the personalities of each you. But really, I loved that I was able to capture your family, exactly as you are right now! Here are some of my favorites.
I know I showed this one before, but I love everything about it. The way Marla and Ryan are looking at each other like school kids in love, her foot cocked to the side. I love the connection.

December 19th, 2011I met up with Marcie, Russ and little Mason at the Ritz Carlton Beach Club just as a cool front was moving through the area. It was a little windy, but the skies were stunning and so full of amazing color. There’s nothing quite like a sunset over the Gulf. Despite Mason not feeling well, we were able to capture these beautiful images. It truly was a pleasure photographing this family. Thank you for rolling with the punches, staying calm, and making the experience a positive one!

December 12th, 2011I love so many things about my job, but one of my favorites thing is the privilidge to document children and families year after year. I first met Camilla when she was just eight days old and Corin was adjusting to her new role a big sister. I saw them again, last Christmas and was honored to photograph the entire family. This year, I was excited to see the girls again. Their session was scheduled on the coldest, windiest morning this season. Luckily for indoor back-up plans, their images turned out beautifully. Corin is a fantastic big sister, and ready to pose like a princess. Camilla embraced the fun, playful spirit in all two-year olds. Thanks for allowing me to watch your girls grow.
