Luke gave his parents something extra special to be thankful for this year, as he was born on Thanksgiving Day, 2 1/2 weeks before he was due. Luke’s newborn portraits session took place at Fanciful Photography‘s St. Armand’s circle natural light studio on his ninth day (and nine days before he was due). He has such long lashes, a head full of dark hair, and the most perfect little chin dimple. While we photographed him in many set-ups, I am always drawn to the simple, neutral ones that really focus on the perfect, newborn details of the baby. PINIMAGE

The best time to schedule your baby’s newborn portrait session is during the second trimester of pregnancy to ensure availability.

A few more 2016 Holiday Mini Sessions to go. Have to share this one of sweet Ava playing a little Hide-and-Seek during this morning’s session. I gasped when I was taking this and hoped it would be as good as I saw it through my lens. I am in love! The light, the expression, her eyes. I am so blessed to do what I love. sun-flare-hide-and-seek-sarasota-child-photographer-fanciful-photographyPINIMAGE

I love to photograph Newborn details, the ones that change so quickly that become a distant memory. I love the newborn profile. It’s one of the details that change the most.  Lena had the most amazingly squishy cheeks and her chins (yes, that is purposely plural) are pretty awesome too. Her fingers were so long and thin but met her hands with the greatest little dimples, and the way she flexed and curled her toes was perfect. She loved to have her arms and hands up by her head and was just so “chill” through her session. These newborn images are all part of her beginning. The details that are the story of Lena. I am so blessed to be part of creating that story. Congrats Matt and Amanda! She is PERFECT in every way. sarasota-newborn-photographer-newborn-details-newborn-macros-fanciful-photography-natural-light-black-and-white-photosPINIMAGE The best time to have your baby’s newborn portraits done is within the first two weeks of life.  Contact Kimberly at Fanciful Photography to schedule your newborn while in your second trimester to ensure availability for your Southwest Florida Portrait Session.
