Fanciful Photography | Sarasota Newborn, Baby, Child, and Family Photographer » a portrait photography blog

Another Fanciful Photography Newborn is celebrating a milestone.  Clara is O N E !! Her and her family came to Fanciful Photography’s natural light studio on St. Armand’s circle to document the big event.  Clara was toddling, crawling, smiling, laughing, playing peek-a-boo, smashing and splashing during her session. It’s always an honor and so much fun to follow families through the first year (and beyond).   PINIMAGE

I love sending out client’s galleries. This session is so packed full and when looking at all the images together, it tells such a great story. Selecting a favorite is quite the challenge for me. I always love a mom and baby image, and this one of taken at Siesta Beach during Kennedy’s last session of her baby plan is just perfect!

Wishing a happy, happy Mother’s Day to all of Fanciful Photography’s seasoned, new and “to-be” moms out there. PINIMAGE

This page has been quite quiet lately, blogging and posting previews have taken a back-burner, but I have many, many images to share.

Brady’s family has been anxiously awaiting a peek at his one-year portrait session. There were SO, SO many images from this milestone session at the beach, choosing just one was a challenge. I love the pure joyful expression Brady has in front of the amazing, colorful sunset. PINIMAGE

This family, well, they are “my people.”  We go way back to high school but found each other as “adults” almost ten years ago.  Our children are a lot like siblings.  My oldest two have been in class with these two boys since they were two years old and, without any doubt, have each others backs in good and bad times.  Sometimes, knowing a family and kids so well can make photographing them a challenge.  Not this time.

Ryan and Marla were high school sweethearts, and their love and respect for each other can be seen in these photos. I am so glad we took the time for a dance at sunset among the trees.  The light was almost as magical as the moment.  I adore the they way they are both looking at each other.

Tweens, especially boys, well, they can be tough in general, but even more so to photograph.  But, not Jake and Zach.  Their personalities are captured perfectly in these photos.  Silent confidence plus a little inside joke to make their real smiles come through.  As always, I love to photograph and document the details. Zach’s crystal blue eyes and perfect freckles.  Jake’s perfect dimples and long lashes.  This is them.
