I am still playing catch-up with the blog. I met up with this beautiful family earlier in the year. It was a gorgeous day for a photo session, especially for this family, who had escaped to Siesta Key’s white sandy beaches from their own white stuff, just the colder variety.

Siesta Key Vacation | Siest Key Beach Family Photographer
Monday, May 7th, 2012S Family Beach Vacation | Siesta Key Family Beach Photographer
Thursday, March 22nd, 2012This year, I’ve been blessed to help document many visiting families’ vacations. Capturing families, especially extended families, when on vacation is a little different than a typical family session. They tend to be more carefree allowing for the love and connections to really shine through. The “S” family was certainly no exception.

Thursday, February 9th, 2012Still playing catch-up after a busy fall and early winter. Meet the “S” family. It is such a refreshing delight to see true, happiness and contentment. The “S” family celebrated a long holiday together, grandchildren playing in the sand with grandparents, children splashing in the water with mom and dad, and really, just Living and loving life. Thanks for the opportunity to help document your memories. Here are some of their favorites, with a few of my favorites thrown in.

Monday, December 19th, 2011I met up with Marcie, Russ and little Mason at the Ritz Carlton Beach Club just as a cool front was moving through the area. It was a little windy, but the skies were stunning and so full of amazing color. There’s nothing quite like a sunset over the Gulf. Despite Mason not feeling well, we were able to capture these beautiful images. It truly was a pleasure photographing this family. Thank you for rolling with the punches, staying calm, and making the experience a positive one!
R Family | Sarasota Family Photographer
Tuesday, November 29th, 2011This family is one of the first “strangers” I ever photographed while Kelly and Bobby were pregnant with Taylor and I look forward to their sessions each and every year. I have had the extreme pleasure of helping to document each year in their family’s life including Taylor’s first Christmas , and second Christmas . I am thrilled I get to watch Taylor grow up into the smart, adorable, sweet little girl! This family truly is special.
Family Beach Vacation | Sarasota Family Photographer
Friday, November 4th, 2011Last night, while working off the wakefulness my dinner iced- tea caused, I realized I never blogged this gorgeous family beach session. I have known Vilma since High School, but haven’t seen her in at least a decade. It was great to catch up with her and her gorgeous family while they were vacationing in Sarasota.

Beach Bum! | Sarasota Baby Photographer
Sunday, May 1st, 2011I absolutely love to watch a baby grow. Davis is one of my baby plan babies. You may remember his sweet face from last fall when DAVIS was just three months old. Well, this little guy has grown a lot since then, and he is full of personality. His eyes, and dimples, and big, two-tooth smile can certainly work some magic on me. He is sure to be a real heart-breaker. Thanks Jamie and Spencer, it was great to spend an early morning at the beach with your family. Until next time…
Celebrating Family and Milestones | Longboat Key Family Photographer
Tuesday, April 26th, 2011I am often a part of milestone celebrations for babies and young children, both professionally and personally. Seems though, as we get older, those milestones tend to be less celebrated and almost dreaded. I was fortunate enough to celebrate Mary and her big milestone birthday this year. Her one wish – a photo session celebrating some of her biggest gifts, her family. Her prized Yellow Submarine even made an appearance in some of the images. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your memories.
F-Family – Sarasota Beach Photographer
Sunday, September 19th, 2010They say that the Third time is the charm. Well, it was certainly true in this case. This was our third trip to the beach, in attempt to capture the “F” family. We were completely rained out the first two times by the infamous Florida summer afternoon thunderstorms. We weren’t risking it this time and went for a sunrise portrait session instead. Getting three children under three and a teen-ager out the door for anything is a challenge, but getting to a portrait session with clean, happy children is monumental! I think your efforts paid off. Enjoy your sneak peek!
