Admittedly, I am behind in blogging. But, I will catch-up. This session was a long time coming. I don’t know who was more excited to capture these moments, me or them. I loved Jake’s smile, complete with a hole from losing his first tooth. Zach and those eyes, oh those baby blues. The outfits and colors were perfect and fit the personalities of each you. But really, I loved that I was able to capture your family, exactly as you are right now! Here are some of my favorites.

Monday, January 9th, 2012Pretty in Pink | Sarasota Children’s Photographer
Monday, December 12th, 2011I love so many things about my job, but one of my favorites thing is the privilidge to document children and families year after year. I first met Camilla when she was just eight days old and Corin was adjusting to her new role a big sister. I saw them again, last Christmas and was honored to photograph the entire family. This year, I was excited to see the girls again. Their session was scheduled on the coldest, windiest morning this season. Luckily for indoor back-up plans, their images turned out beautifully. Corin is a fantastic big sister, and ready to pose like a princess. Camilla embraced the fun, playful spirit in all two-year olds. Thanks for allowing me to watch your girls grow.
Autumn Splendor – Sarasota Style – I Heart Faces Challenge | Sarasota Family Photographer
Monday, November 14th, 2011Living in Southwest Florida, we don’t get a ton of what most think of when it comes to “Autumn Splendor.” But, when I saw this one on my LCD after snapping (about 3 minutes into the session), I knew I got “IT”! I had to enter this one into the I Heart Faces Challenges weekly challenge. Anything else I shot during the rest of the session was just “cake”, and I got a lot if it too. This is what sunrise looks like in Sarasota, in the fall. Not too shabby

Anticipation | Sarasota Maternity Photographer
Monday, September 26th, 2011I had the pleasure of documenting Jenny, Josh and Julia, as they prepare to welcome identical twin girls to the family. You may remember them from last spring . Little did we know there were two extra little girls being photographed that evening.
There really is something incredibly special about a pregnant woman and Jenny is no exception. Since Jenny is expecting twins, we schedule the session a little earlier than most, to be sure we captured these moments. I hope to do one more mini session in about a month or so, for comparison.
Mine on Monday – SIX | Sarasota Child Photographer
Monday, June 27th, 2011I have totally and completely neglected “Mine”. I do have good excuses (don’t I always), but I won’t bore you with them. Here is Madelyn, the week she turned six. And, yes, for those that are keeping track, that was about 3 months ago!

Maci | Sarasota Baby, Child and Family Photographer
Thursday, May 19th, 2011Remember growing up, when your grandparents, aunts and uncles would always say “oh my, have you grown!” and you would think, “well duh, of course I have!” or something similar. Well, I kind of feel that way about my baby planners, particularly when they are “graduating”. I first met Maci when she was just learning to sit up , she was still rather wobbly actually. I met her again when she was just learning to crawl. Hard to believe that in just over 11 months, she was tough to keep up with, full of personality and fearless. Here’s Maci at 17 months old!
W-Family | Sarasota Family Photographer
Wednesday, December 15th, 2010I have had the honor and privilege to photograph the “W” family several times. I did a session with them last Christmas and again when Tate was born. I see these little guys often yet I’m still amazed at the changes from just one year. Thanks for allowing me to document your handsome crew!
Little Princesses – Sarasota Family Photographer
Sunday, December 12th, 2010I wast thrilled to photograph the “M” family. You may remember these little cuties from Camilla’s newborn session. They sure have grown into quite the little princesses over the past year. Corin is a big helper and Camilla is like a little porcelain doll, only a little busier. It was great seeing you all again.
Pure Beauty! – Sarasota Family Photographer
Saturday, December 4th, 2010I was lucky enough to photograph this sweetheart and her parents again this year. You may remember her from last Christmas . Well, she has grown into quite the little beauty! Thank you Kelly and Bobby for allowing me to watch your family grow. It’s always a pleasure. Enjoy your preview!
